Current transformer (CT) - Voltage transformer (VT) is important and indispensable devices in intermediate transformer stations and distribution transformer stations with grid voltages of 22, 35 kV.

A current transformer symbolized as TI or CT is a device to measure the indirect current passing through the power supply to the load or the load's dynamic wire, used to convert the current to have high values down to currents with standard values of 5A and 1A.

A voltage transformer symbolized as TU or VT is an electrical device that reduces system voltage (primary side voltage) to a safe voltage (standard 100 or 110V) to power low capacity meters and relays. The system voltage is applied to the primary side coils of the TU and according to the principle of electromagnetic induction, voltage appears on the secondary side coils.
